Cisco, the worldwide leader in networking for the Internet, has donated equipment and software valued at over $170,000 for use in expanding secure and reliable communications to SafetyNET community.

The equipment consists of enhanced Ethernet and Fiber channel (SAN) switching, including Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) and Virtual Private Network (VPN) gateways which allow secure communications across public networks such as the Internet.
