Join OCHIN
OCHIN is a 501(c)(3) Health Center Controlled Network whose members work collaboratively on clinical readiness, workflow redesign, provider and staff training, hosting, implementation, optimization, reporting, billing, and effective use of practice management and electronic health record (EHR) systems required to achieve strategic clinical, operational, and financial goals.
Membership in OCHIN’s network includes opportunities to participate in user work groups that engage executives, providers, and administrative users in continuous professional development through online learning and advanced quality training offered through the Association for Process Improvement and Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
OCHIN members benefit from multiple interfaces to third party organizations including ELINCS interfaces to Quest Diagnostics and Lab Corp, links to state disease and immunization registries, secure connections to federal agencies through the Nationwide Health Information Network as well as robust health information exchange designed to support improved care continuity and maintain complete patient records
OCHIN also engages its members in its National Institutes of Health Administration for Health Research and Quality (AHRQ) practice-based research network – “Safety Net West” – that leverages OCHIN’s hosted systems and data aggregation and analysis tools to provides access to a vast amount of discrete data on safety net populations.
